2 Corinthians 6:1-2 “As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, ‘In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.’ I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”
Paul is talking to believers who are putting off spiritual activities as if they had all the time in the world to accomplish them. Procrastination.
Principle: Do the thing that God leads you to do and do it now.
Regardless of your busy schedule, age, or health be proactive in God’s grace.
Do it now. Make peace with estranged people. Get rid of the bitterness. Do your part to revive friendships.
Plan it now. Take the first steps in achieving goals you once planned – a trip, a program, a donation.
Say it now. Tell somebody how much you appreciate what they did. Tell somebody you love them.
Live it now. Enjoy all that God has provided you in circumstances and surroundings.
Discussion:
1. What important things have you put off?
2. Why?
3. Why not go ahead and do them today?
