Exodus 3:2-4 “Then the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, ‘I will go over and see this strange sight— why the bush does not burn up.’ When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’ And Moses said, ‘Here I am.’”

Moses came to the burning bush out of curiosity. God got his attention and when he turned away from his shepherding to investigate the unusual, he came face-to-face with the God of the universe.

Principle: God may speak in unusual circumstances so keep your spiritual antenna up, read his Word and be ready to say “Yes, Lord.”

1. Has God called you in unusual circumstances to do a project or make a life change? Describe.

2. If you said “yes” to the call, how did it turn out?

3. If you said “no” or “later” to the call, how are you doing with it?
