M.B.B.A. (Master of Biblical Business Administration)

Genesis 41:39-40 “Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.’”

Joseph had been in training for this moment all his life. He had a solid relationship with God and faith that life was going to work out well for him. He gathered experience under adverse conditions. He was a student of the Word of God with faith in divine revelation.

Principle: Wisdom through the Word of God is an important qualifier for mission preparation and promotion.

A Master in Bible Business Administration is a great qualifier for success and promotion. Close connection with the author is required.

All Joseph knew was one piece of information, an important piece of information about the cycle of plenty and want. Joseph also had knowledge of how to administer a program to overcome difficulty.

We have the Bible. Genesis to Revelation. The complete book. 400 paragraphs about work and business. 66 books each with a slightly different slant but all perfectly relevant.

Discussion:

1. How are you aware that the Bible is relevant to business and exhaustive for the workplace?

2. Can you think of a workplace issue today that does not seem to be covered by the Bible?

3. If it is that central to true success, how much time and effort should a person devote to it?
